wow ! I see the buildings are very tall and popping clearly, something not usually observed in similar planet images, and wonder if it was like teleshot.

So, now I assume you are maybe 100 feet away from the buildings

saw 'Forgotten' on the DD and came over to look and see - really a nice gallery with some beautiful shots . I like the way you have captured fog banks in some of them . but this is my favorite - the first one I have seen like this . this is actually a nice way to view a panorama but looking at it as a planet is fun . I can't be sure if the center is the molten (or frozen) core of your world of if this is a view of the ocean on the surface of it .

fun and interesting - who could ask for more

Ok may I ask how you got the sphere? I have a full 360degree photomerge that I was trying to link into a circle with free transform/warp but it just turned into a nightmare! Would love some advice, just a hint at what filter or command you used would be great. Came here looking at your awesome ir work but this blew me away even more!

hi there!

thanx for adding me to your watch.
the planet thingy is quite easy but i suck at explaining so i found a link.
[link]

for me it required quite a bit of retouching to make it fit but that's just
because i wasn't taking the picture with the intentions of making a planet :)

Thanks so much for that, I gave it a go and got quite good results. I think my processor hated me for it though!

I have seen this distortion effect used by someone else here, but never got the answer of wich plug-in or PS tool has been used. Would you mind telling ?

Gnar- a term/prefix that stimulates a positive feeling throughout the central nervous system.

Don't worry, gnar is a good thing.
